Packing List When Taking Sahara Desert Tours from Fes

-

The Sahara Desert is one of the places you can consider visiting whenever you want to run away from the stress that life brings at times. Instead of spending your vacation at home, you can tour The Sahara Desert and find out what nature has to offer. Before embarking on your Sahara Desert Tours from Fes, there are a couple of things you need to put into consideration. To offer a helping hand, here is what to bring alone when touring the Sahara Desert for the very first time.

  • Small Carry-on Size Backpack

Do not bring along a big heavy bag as it is never going to help you with anything rather than make things hard. To avoid going through a lot, you need to bring along a small carry-on size backpack to keep your belongings. Your backpack will then be mounted on the camel’s saddle handlebar throughout the entire journey as it does not irritate the camel.  In case you want to carry a big bag, then you will have to leave it behind at your hotel room. Through this action, you are never going to irritate the camel or find it hard in moving from one place to another when walking.

  • Carry the Right Clothes

If you are going to have a remarkable experience, then it is mandatory for you to bring along the right clothes. Include a light jacket since the temperature during the trek is going to be nice and warm. Actually, you might only wear your jacket during the wee hours of the morning when temperatures are much cooler. Aside from a light jacket, you should also carry a scarf for protecting your face from the sand and long pants as they protect your skin from scratchy camel fur.

  • Bring Extra Water

Even if you do not drink too much water regularly, it is mandatory for you to bring an extra bottle of water. When walking through the Sahara or riding a camel, chances are the sun will cause your body to sweat thus losing a lot of water. Therefore, carrying an extra bottle of water is definitely going to keep your hydrated. You might even need a 1.5 liter bottle of water to last through one night and hence it is better to fully prepared.

  • Dust Proof Phone Case

The camel ride can at times get bumpy and hence you need to bring along a waterproof/dust proof phone case. Make sure the phone case has a necklace piece as it prevents any possible mishaps whenever you are taking pictures.

The Bottom Line

These are just but some of the things you need to bring along when opting for the Sahara Desert Tours from Fes. Luckily, the tour company you choose to work with will let you know what to bring and what to leave behind.  So make an effort to book a tour company as early as possible in order to have the best vacation.
